Materials:
Funnel
Orange sock
Dried rice or beans
Stick
Rubber band
Black felt
Scissors
Fabric glue
Googly eyes
Directions:
Place a funnel into the opening of an inside-out orange sock.
Pour dried rice or beans, filling the sock about halfway full.
Push a stick into the middle of the rice or beans so that the end of the stick pokes up out of the sock.
Cinch the opening of the sock around the stick, just above the level of rice or beans, and secure it with a rubber band.
Pull the end of the sock down over the ball of rice or beans, which will reveal the "right side" of the sock.
Cut out a spooky pumpkin face from black felt, and glue it on to the sock pumpkin using fabric glue.
Attach two googly eyes onto the pumpkin face using fabric glue. Allow the glue to dry completely.
