About Donna

Donna has over 20 years’ experience in marketing and public relations, and has been passionate about writing for her whole life. Through her company, Silversmith Writing & Editing, Donna has written and edited award-winning publications, web content, and marketing materials, specializing in nonprofits, higher education and healthcare communications. Her book, Not Just Words: How a Good Apology Makes You Braver, Bolder, And Better At Life was published in 2018 and helps readers learn how to deliver a good apology in order to improve their relationships. As well as completing non-fiction projects, Donna has written short fiction and a one-act play, and her work has appeared in San Francisco, MS., Backstage, and The Hartford Courant.
