Dr. Amy Webb graduated from the University of Texas with a doctorate in Human Development and Family Sciences in 2008 and has since worked as a freelance writer for parenting websites and apps, (such as Motherly and Family5), and she currently works as an Associate Writer for Lovevery, a play product brand. In addition, as a mom of 2 boys, Dr. Webb has run The Thoughtful Parent for over 14 years - a blog that gives parents strategies to support their child’s development based on academic research, combined with their intuition. She is also the author of ‘Tender Beginnings’, a book that guides moms through the first 6 months of their baby’s life and advises them about child development.
