About Carol
Carol’s mission is to help students harness their abilities so that they can go on to be leaders in their community, country, and the world. To that end, Carol founded LifeBound in 2001, a company that provides academic and professional coaching skills training for K-12 and college faculty, advisors, and staff. Through LifeBound, Carol has travelled to many countries, including China, Australia, New Zealand, and Kenya. In 2014, Carol founded GlobalMindED, which brings together leaders from diverse backgrounds and industries at an annual conference in order to help disadvantaged students get access and improve equity to education, employment, and health. Carol is also the lead author of the best-selling series for college freshmen, ‘The Keys to Success’, which is available in multiple languages and has been used by more than 3 million students around the globe. Carol has also been an executive for Pearson Education as a Director of Marketing, their first female Assistant Vice-President, the first internal Vice-President when Prentice Hall was bought by Pearson, and Publisher for Student Success.
