Felice Kaufmann

About Felice
Felice is a retired consultant in gifted child education who has worked both in schools as a teacher and counselor for gifted children, as well as in universities creating teacher training programs for gifted children. Following a position early in her career as a research assistant to the celebrated psychologist, Dr. E. Paul Torrance, Dr. Kaufmann went on to be on the Board of Directors of the National Association for Gifted Children and the Executive Board of The Association for the Gifted. She was also the Director of the National Training Program in Gifted Education for the Council for Exceptional Children. Felice is the author of a number of books and her articles have appeared in many Education journals, and she has presented workshops and talks around the world. Additionally, for more than 40 years, Felice has followed the lives of high school Presidential Scholars, longitudinally studying the impact of such a prestigious award on the adult lives of gifted teenagers.
