About Metta

Having graduated with a Master’s degree from the Frontier Nursing University in 2016, Metta became a Certified Nurse Midwife and has since attained a Post Master’s Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner certificate and has become a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Metta has attended births for more than 20 years in a variety of locations, such as clinics, birth centers, hospitals, homes and virtually though telehealth. Metta is currently a co-owner of New Moon Midwives through which she provides prenatal and postpartum care, attends home births and advises on women’s health.
