Here's another easy way for your young child to make wrapping paper.

Materials

  • Liquid tempera paint or soap paint (see Frosty Soap Painting)
  • Newspaper
  • Heavy plain paper

Directions

  1. Crumple up some newspaper into a ball and dip it in liquid tempera or soap paint.
  2. Press the newspaper ball lightly all over the heavy plain paper.
  3. Use two or three different colors if you like.
  4. Let dry.
