Eeyore Costume
Time: 2 hours
Effort: Some sewing
Materials:
- Blue-gray sweatshirt or jacket with hood
- Blue-gray sweatpants
- Blue dye
- Blue-gray felt
- Black fur
- Velcro
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Pink ribbon
- Needle and thread
- Scissors
- Pink felt (optional)
- Button (optional)
Instructions: If you can't find a blue-gray sweatshirt, you can dye the sweatpants and shirt to make them the same grayish-blue as Eeyore.
Sew a small square of Velcro to the seat of the pants (this is where the tail will go). Cut out two ears from the blue-gray felt. Cut out the inner ear in the pink felt, smaller than the blue, and hot glue it on.
For the tail, cut a strip of the blue-gray felt and sew or hot-glue the Velcro to one end. Cut out a small bit of black fur and glue or sew that to the other end of the tail. Then tie the pink ribbon around it. You can glue or sew a button to the top of the tail as well.
