Shower Costume
The shower costume, first made famous by Daniel-San in the film The Karate Kid, is a hilarious, attention-getting Halloween get-up. Follow these simple directions to create your own shower costume this Halloween.
Shower Costume
Time: 1 hour
Effort: Quick and easy - no sewing required
Materials:
- Hula-hoop
- Shower curtain or old bed sheet
- Shower curtain rings
- Thin rope
- Flip-flops
- Shower cap
- Skin-colored leotard
- Funnel
- Rod
- Tinsel
- Foil
- Tape
Instructions: Tape or glue the funnel to the rod. Cover both in foil. Tape tinsel to the inside of funnel so it looks like water sprinkling out. This is your showerhead. Put the shower curtain around the hula-hoop. Make two shoulder straps out of the rope, and tie to the hula-hoop. Cut the shower curtain to a non-tripping length. Don the skin-colored leotard. Hold the showerhead at the appropriate height above your head. Wear the flip-flops and shower cap.
