These apple candlesticks make lovely table decorations for Rosh Hashanah, Thanksgiving, or any fall feast.
Materials:
- A paring knife
- Plastic wrap
- A potato peeler
- Lemon juice
- 2 Rome Beauty apples
- 2 candles
Directions:
- Core the apple halfway into the center to make room for the candles.
- Use plastic wrap around the base if the hole is too large.
- Carve designs into the apple skin, using the pointy end of a potato peeler.
- Rub the exposed apple with lemon juice to keep it from discoloring.
Make the apple candle sticks your centerpiece, or place them on a mantle to light up your living room and infuse it with the fragrance of apples.
