Alphabet Caterpillar

What You'll Need:
· 14 sheets of construction paper
· Marker
· Brown paper bag

Help your child learn her ABC's!

What to Do:

Step One: Fold each piece of construction paper in half.

Step Two: On each half of the folded paper, cut out a circle about 4 inches wide.

Step Three: Write a letter of the alphabet in the middle of each circle with the marker (you should have two circles left over).

Step Four: On one of the leftover circles, have your child draw the caterpillar's face.

Step Five: Put the circles in the brown paper bag.

Step Six: When your child's ready to put her caterpillar together, she can start picking circles out of the bag and spreading them out on the table.

Step Seven: Arrange all the circles in alphabetical order.

The completed caterpillar will show the entire alphabet with each letter in the right spot!

You can repeat this as often as you like, and even make different caterpillars such as a vowel, consonant, or word caterpillar.
