Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) and Molly Jensen (Demi Moore) refuse to let a little thing like mortality get in the way of their love. Sam is killed in a botched mugging, and he returns from the grave to right a few wrongs and say goodbye to Molly, with the help of medium Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg). Who says true love can't last forever?
