Every hour of every day of the year, NORAD tracks every single thing that flies in and out of the air space surrounding North America. On Christmas Eve, they expand their capabilities to track the most important flight of the night, Santa’s magical sleigh ride.
2. Google Santa Tracker
Not only can you track Santa on Google’s Santa Tracker, you can also play games. You can play coding games and learn at the same time, send online postcards to Santa, and play a variety of games all themed with Christmas spirit. If you are too excited to wait for Christmas Eve and really need to get in touch with Santa Claus beforehand, there is a direct phone number to call: (951) 262-3062. Obviously, Santa Claus is very busy getting ready for Christmas, so you might get his voicemail, but at the very least, you can leave him a message.
You can also send an email directly to Santa Claus via Claus.com. You can even pick out a fun Santa stamp for the online postcard.
Of course, you can always send a real letter to Santa Claus, too. The United States Postal Service knows how to get it there. Simply write your letter and then put it in an envelope addressed to Santa Claus at the North Pole and drop it in an outgoing mailbox. There is also a specific postal station in Alaska that relays the letters directly to the North Pole if you prefer to use a more specific address:
